Fund Management system


Description:

The Fund Management System manages investment portfolios and Funds in terms of their assets, revenues, and expenses. It calculates required fees such as management and performance fees, as well as controls unit holders files and their balances. In addition it calculates the net asset value of the Fund, and provides numerous reports and statistics.
 

Features:

  • Shares Transactions: Consists of entering buying and selling invoices in the system in order for it to generate the necessary accounting transactions that reflect on the cost of the shares and the brokers and the realized profit and loss accounts.

  • Splits: A transaction consisting of entering the date and the split percent which consequently leads to the system calculating the number of split shares for each portfolio and generates the necessary transactions for it.

  • Cash Dividends: Where the date and the dividends percent are entered and the system calculates the amount of dividends for each portfolio and generates the necessary transactions.

  • Shares Closing Prices: the historical prices are stored in the system in order for it to give a portfolio evaluation as of different dates.

  • Shares Evaluation: This report evaluates shares based on closing prices supplied to the system where it calculates the unrealized profit and loss and generates the necessary transactions that affects the unrealized profit and loss accounts as well the fair market value accounts.

  • Bonds Transactions: Consists of entering buying and selling invoices in the system in order for it to generate the necessary accounting transactions that affects the cost of the Bonds and the brokers and the realized profit and loss and the pre-earned or prepaid interest accounts.

  • Bonds Interest: at the coupon date of a Bond the system calculates the interest for each portfolio holding that particular Bond and generates the necessary transactions.

  • Bonds Closing Prices: The Bond closing prices are stored historically in the system in order to evaluate the portfolio at different dates.

  • Bonds Evaluation: This report evaluates Bonds based on the closing prices supplied to the system and calculates the unrealized profit, loss and interest and generates the necessary transactions that affects the unrealized profit and loss accounts as well the fair market value accounts and the unearned interest accounts.

  • Funds Transactions: Consists of entering buying and selling invoices to the system where it generates the necessary accounting transactions that affects the cost of the Funds and the brokers and the realized profit and loss accounts.

  • Unit Splits: A transaction consisting of entering the date and the split percent which consequently leads the system calculating the number of split Units for each portfolio and generates the necessary transactions to it.

  • Cash Dividends: A transaction consisting of entering the date and the dividends percent which consequently leads the system calculating the amount of dividends for each portfolio and generates the necessary transactions to it.

  • Funds Closing Prices: The closing prices are stored historically in the system in order to evaluate the Fund at different dates.

  • Funds Evaluation: This report evaluates the Fund based on the closing prices supplied to the system where it calculates the unrealized profit and loss and generates the necessary transactions that affects the unrealized profit and loss accounts as well the fair market value accounts.
